Ashley graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Chemistry from Sam Houston State University. She started her career in the oil and gas industry as a chemist at a regional laboratory in the Barnett Shale area,  where she advanced her way to Regional Laboratory Manager to oversee seven labs across five states. After four years of working on the analytical side, Ashley moved to a Technical Professional role serving the Eagle Ford region. During her time there, she worked as a Senior Technical Professional, an Account Manager, and a Technical Manager over an expanded area to include the Haynesville Shale. After roughly 10 years at the local level, Ashley transferred to Houston to take on a Technical Sales Advisor role to work with customers across North America.  She is now a Principle Product Champion, supporting Halliburton’s global production chemical capabilities.
