MORNING WORKSHOP: PRODUCED WATER MANAGEMENT

As E&Ps are moving from the use of fresh water sources and more and more towards the Produced or Recycled Water the question becomes, ‘how can operators tackle the increased risk of scale as a result of the salty water?

9.00AM - 12.00PM CHALLENGES & BENEFITS OF MANAGING PRODUCED WATER

This workshop will discuss:

  • The role of oilfield chemicals in produced water quality improvement

  • Cost-benefit analysis of recycling and reusing water in oilfield production operations

12.30PM Registration

AFTERNOON WORKSHOP: CHEMICAL USAGE DURING FRAC STAGE

E&Ps are pumping a lot of chemicals during the production stage once wells are online, but chemicals can only reach to the vertical part of the tubing and the lateral part is not being protected. A big concern for E&Ps is scale and solids being deposited in the lateral section causing production in wells to decline faster.

1.00PM - 4.00PM OPTIMISE USE OF CHEMICALS DURING FRAC STAGE TO REDUCE SOLIDS/SCALE DEPOSITION IN THE LATERAL SECTION

  • This workshop will showcase how to use chemicals during the frac stage so that it goes to the deep frac network, reduce the number of solids and scale deposited in the lateral section of the tubing and find a better scale mitigation solution.
